Engage Mutual is a customer owned business serving more than 500,000 people from all over the UK.
Our heritage lies in financial services but our ambitions are broader than that. The organisation is efficient and well capitalised and offers a range of simple, good value protection, health and savings products. Although we would agree that having the right products and service is important, we believe being a great mutual is about much more than this.
We believe it is about empathy; tailoring solutions that really meet
customer’s needs and helping them deal with the often difficult
situations they find themselves in. This could be solutions provided by
us, or by a carefully chosen expert from whom you may take simple
advice, a sense of direction or a specific solution.
It is about representation: this organisation needs to be one that listens, responds to and actively represents the needs, views and concerns of its customers. And finally, it is about social impact: over time, we hope that Engage Mutual can genuinely make a positive difference to our customers’ lives.
We already know that the customers we most commonly serve face countless demands on their time, energy and finances from many directions. Often still supporting grown up children, balancing their own work, health and social needs and facing decisions around the care of elderly relatives, they are a group of people often overlooked.
We believe that we can do more to help. We want to build a genuine
